Pacelli's high school swim team showcased their talent and determination at Monday night's swim meet hosted by First Presbyterian Day School in Macon. The event brought together 13 teams from the middle Georgia area, and our Vikings left a lasting impression.

A standout performance came from our Boys Team, securing an impressive 2nd place overall at the meet. The Medley Relay Team, consisting of Courtland Pellegrino, Kai Crisp, Bo Gardner, and Jace Theriault, claimed first place with exceptional swims, setting the tone for the team's success.

In the individual races, Jace, Kai, and Bo dominated the 100 Freestyle, clinching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, respectively, showcasing the depth of talent on the team.

Other notable achievements include Jace Theriault's 1st place in the 100 Breaststroke, Courtland Pellegrino's 3rd place in both the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly, Kai Crisp's 3rd place in the 100 Backstroke, and Bo Gardner's 4th place in the 100 Breaststroke. Addie Oehrlein secured 5th place in the 200 Freestyle.

The Boys Freestyle Relay Team, composed of Courtland, Kai, Cameron Parsons, and Jace, earned 2nd place, further contributing to the team's success.

Not to be overshadowed, our girls also made their mark. Notable performances include Emilia Evans, Caroline Russell, and Zachary Cotton earning points in their respective events, along with outstanding relay efforts from the Girls Medley Relay Team (Emilia, Lucy Snipes, Charlotte Frisch, Rocio Portieles-Garcia) and the Girls Freestyle Relay Team (Chloe Morris, Lilly Cline, Mary Liz Snipes, Gracie Vickery).

The Vikings will dive back into action this Friday at 5:00 pm at the Harris County Rec Center. Show your support for our talented swimmers as they continue to make waves in the pool!
