The 2022-2023 school year saw tremendous success for so many of St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School’s athletic teams! It was a banner year for our Vikings, with six team state championships and six students who earned a total of seven individual state championships. Overall, all of our teams and athletes improved, and it's due in part to support provided with gifts of time and treasure to the Vikings Booster Club.
In total, our Booster Club raised $53,635.16 during the 2022-2023 school year. These funds allowed continued support of our student-athletes and coaches. During the last year, the Vikings Booster Club helped provide the following:
An athletic trainer to be onsite during our on-campus practices and games
Concession stand upgrades on Deimel Field and in The Land, including roll-up security doors, new countertops and sinks, refreshed paint and an additional popcorn machine
A new school bus that provides additional transportation during busy seasons
A specialized field camera and software for our Flag Football and Soccer teams to use to record, play and allow for replay review
Our Wrestling and Volleyball teams received funds to attend a tournament and summer training camps
New equipment and uniforms for our Cheerleaders
The Vikings Booster Club continued its support for Pacelli’s annual Doug Harris Memorial Bonfire, Viking 600 Campaign, Volunteer of the Year award and recognition of our coaches
Our Vikings Booster Club supports all levels of athletic teams, beginning with student-athletes in 3rd grade. Each school year, the Vikings Booster Club embarks on a campaign to raise funds to support Pacelli’s athletics program as well as provide volunteer support before, during and after games. Vikings Booster Club memberships are the largest single source of funds raised to support our Viking Athletics program. Our Booster Club memberships come with benefits, by sponsorship level, receive sports and concession passes, banners to advertise businesses, designated parking spaces for home games, and game announcements promoting businesses.
