Pacelli Flag Football Team Dominates with Back-to-Back Wins to Begin Title Defense

Pacelli Flag Football Team, the reigning State champions, kicked off their season in style with resounding victories against Peachtree Ridge and Forsyth Central. The team showcased their offensive prowess and a formidable defense in both games, making it clear that they are determined to defend their championship title.*

Game 1: Pacelli 19, Peachtree Ridge 0

In their season opener against Peachtree Ridge, Pacelli's offense was firing on all cylinders. Quarterback Kendall Isaacs orchestrated the passing game with precision, tossing two touchdown passes, while quarterback Tamiyah Carter added another passing touchdown to the tally.

Isaacs connected with Addie Christenson twice in the end zone, showcasing their chemistry on the field. Additionally, Grace Smith hauled in a 38-yard reception for an electrifying touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, Pacelli's players were equally impressive. McKayla Hosley, Tamiyah Ransom, and Grace Smith all demonstrated their ball-hawking skills by intercepting passes, shutting down Peachtree Ridge's passing game.

Game #2: Pacelli 19, Forsyth Central 0

The second game of the season saw Pacelli maintain their dominance, this time against Forsyth Central. Quarterback Tamiyah Carter once again led the charge, passing for 90 yards and notching one touchdown. She also displayed her versatility by rushing for 46 yards and an additional touchdown, and she even contributed with 2 receptions for 33 yards.

Kendall Isaacs, the team's other quarterback, continued to deliver, passing for 43 yards and adding one touchdown to the scorecard. Tamiyah Ransom made a spectacular play with a 70-yard touchdown reception, showcasing her breakaway speed.

On the defensive front, Pacelli showed they could bring the pressure. Tiffany Johnson recorded 2 sacks, while Abigail Robinson, Peyton McNeil, and Addie Christenson each contributed with a sack. Christenson wasn't done yet; she also demonstrated her skills in the secondary, grabbing an interception.

These two commanding victories illustrate that Pacelli Flag Football Team is not resting on their laurels as defending State champions. With a potent offense and a defense that can shut down opponents, they have laid down a strong marker for the season ahead.
