Columbus,GA – In an exciting match-up on Thursday night, the St. Anne-Pacelli Lady Vikings JV and Varsity volleyball teams took on the formidable Strong Rock teams, ranked #2 and #7 respectively. While the results didn't favor the Lady Vikings, their determination and outstanding plays showcased their commitment to the sport.

The JV team displayed their fighting spirit, pushing the game to three sets even though they fell short of victory. The effort and skill they exhibited were commendable. Notable performances included:

- Sophomore Jadyn Davis, who delivered 7 kills.
- 8th grader Allie Vickery, with 5 kills and an impressive 6 aces.

The Varsity team faced a fierce challenge against the #2 ranked Strong Rock team and played four intense sets. The Lady Vikings shone in the first set, putting up a strong fight against their higher-ranked opponents. Standout performances included:

- Junior Caroline Hilton, leading the team with 10 kills.
- Sophomore Shannon Menefee, who matched Hilton's 10 kills and also contributed 3 aces.
- Junior Sophia Sillitto, with 7 kills.

The Lady Vikings' resilience and competitive spirit were evident throughout the match, earning them the respect of their opponents and fans alike.
