Exciting Battles Unfold as Pacelli Volleyball Programs Triumph over Calvary

In a thrilling showdown, the Pacelli Volleyball Programs clashed with their counterparts from Calvary Christian School, delivering an evening of intense competition and remarkable performances.

The Middle School teams from Pacelli and Calvary engaged in an exhilarating three-set match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. While victory narrowly eluded Pacelli, the young athletes displayed remarkable determination and sportsmanship on the court. Notably, 7th grader Callista Williams shone as a standout player, delivering several powerful aces and showcasing unparalleled hustle throughout the match. Equally impressive was 8th grader Daya Vasquez, who anchored the team's defense and exhibited flawless serve reception.

For those eager to witness the Middle School lady Vikings in action, mark your calendars for Thursday at 4pm, as they face off against their opponents at St. Luke.

The JV Lady Vikings' volleyball team stole the spotlight with an exceptional performance against Calvary. Their triumphant three-set victory underscored their dedication and skill. Sophomore Jadyn Davis emerged as a key player, leading the team with 8 kills, 5 aces, and a solid defensive presence. Contributing to the victory, 8th grader Allie Vickery recorded 8 kills, while Freshman Elly-Jane Haag contributed 5 kills and 2 aces.

The JV volleyball team's journey continues with upcoming matches against East Coweta and Carrollton, set to take place at ECHS.

The Varsity Lady Viking Volleyball team dominated the court, delivering a resounding victory against Calvary Christian School. Their exceptional performance was highlighted by standout players who showcased their prowess in multiple aspects of the game.

Junior Caroline Hilton led the charge with an impressive 10 kills, 6 aces, and 3 digs, displaying remarkable versatility. Sophomore Shannon Menefee's contribution was equally significant, as she notched 8 kills, 3 aces, and 8 digs. Freshman Malia Resnick added to the team's success with 7 kills, 3 aces, and 4 digs, while Junior Hadley Schoenborn demonstrated remarkable defensive skills with 13 digs.

The heart of the team, Sophomore Anna Do, orchestrated the offense with 31 assists, 4 aces, and 1 kill. Their cohesive efforts paved the way for a spectacular victory that left their opponents in awe.

Enthusiastic fans and supporters are invited to witness the Varsity volleyball team in action on Thursday night at Heritage, where they will face off against Newnan and Heritage at 6 and 7. The event promises an evening of electrifying athleticism and spirited competition as the Pacelli Vikings continue their impressive journey on the volleyball court.
